When the Head Roaster was travelling through Italy in the search of the ultimate espresso, he couldn’t believe how good he felt after he had his first coffee. Back in Sydney, he now drinks over 10 espresso’s per day, and finds it hard to get that same BUZZ…that is, until he invented this blend! The Reef Blend is in adoration of a tight, thick crema’d, heart starting, head clearing Roman espresso. Utilising the strength of the Ugandan and the Ethiopian we carefully match them with the sweeter Guatemalan and the earthy Sumatran to bring a little bit of the Piazza de Spagna to your living room!
You will not need a double shot for this one! The big, deep, smooth, strong thwack of the tight Ugandan bean leads into the berry sweetness of the Ethiopian and the citrus of the Guatemalan. What will linger though is a palate full of exotic spices and earthy tones that you will try to recognise each flavour over the next few hours. At the BeanSurfing warehouse, we love to add a little milk to this one, to make it last just that little bit longer.
